    Donnie “Zim” joined the National Preps team in June 2012 as the Director of Mid Atlantic Scouting after serving as President and CEO of the Playmaker Recruiting Report. Zim has over 18 years of experience “scouting” HS football players, including 12 years as a College Football Coach serving as a position coach, recruiting coordinator, and defensive coordinator at the BCS, FCS, and D2 levels.

    Coach Howard joined the National Preps team in 2018 and is the Director of the Western Region & Texas following almost a decade of being the VP/GM of XOS/Catapult's Recruiting & Scouting Division. Coach Howard is a 16-year HS coaching veteran and is entering his 22nd year in scouting HS players for the college market.

    Prior to joining NP Howard owned one of the top recruiting companies NorCal Football Scouting covering the west coast which was then acquired by XOS/Catapult. He has worked in partnerships with Champion, Bumpboxx, The Opening, Elite 11, The NFL's Pro Football Hall of Fame, ESPN, Fox Sports, Pylon 7v7, and Dave Campbell’s Texas Football. He has also served on the selection teams of the US Army All-American Bowl and the Under Armour All-American Game.

    Jeff Mullen joined the National Preps team in February of 2018 after Coaching College football for 27 years at the Division 1 level.

    Coach Mullen has been a Division 1A College Football Coach for the last 27 seasons. He started his career at the University of Hawaii in 1991 as a Graduate Assistant. From there he made stops at Ohio University (1992-2000), Wake Forest (2001-2007), West Virginia (2008-2010), and finished his coaching career by helping start the program at UNC Charlotte (2011-2017). Jeff spent his entire career as an offensive assistant and over the last 10 seasons as an offensive coordinator.

    Joe joined the National Preps team as the Director of Southeast Scouting in 2013 and has been conducting camps and combines since 2010.

    Prior to National Preps Joe spent 3 years as the offensive line coach at Georgia Military College (GMC) in Milledgeville Georgia. While at GMC Joe coached the offensive line and headed the player personnel duties. During the three seasons Joe was at GMC he helped produce 5 BCS, 7 FCS, and 3 D2 signees on the offensive line. Joe also assisted in placing more than 50 players into D1 and D2 programs across the nation.

    Chad joined National Preps in 2013 after working in various roles at the Division 1 level for 14 years.

    Chad had several roles with NC State's football program, including Director of High School Relations (2005-2013), Offensive GA (2001-03), and Recruiting Intern (2000). He also served as Offensive GA at East Carolina University (2004). During his time at NC State, he assisted in the evaluation, recruitment, and coaching of four NFL QBs (Philip Rivers, Russell Wilson, Mike Glennon, and Jacoby Brissett). While running the recruiting operations for the Wolfpack, he oversaw the recruitment of two classes that resulted in six players drafted by the NFL per respective recruiting class. Both were the highest number of players drafted in school history. Prior to his college experience, Chad coached high school football at CD East HS in Harrisburg, PA, and played DB in college at the Indiana University of PA.

    Todd joined National Preps when Playmaker Recruiting Report merged with National Preps in 2012. While at the University of Maryland at College Park earning his degree in kinesiology, Todd work in the UMD football offices where he assisted in recruiting and event management. After college, Todd joined Playmaker Recruiting Report. After the merger, Todd was promoted to National Preps Director of Mid-Atlantic Scouting.

    Blane, a former team captain and WAC MVP, led Air Force to a 20-3 record as a starting Quarterback. He has over 18-years of coaching experience and has worked under coaches Rocky Long, Troy Calhoun, and Fisher Deberry.

    During his five seasons at San Diego State, Blane served an integral roll in leading the Aztecs to a 49-18 overall record, including two 11-win seasons, and back-to-back MWC Championships.

    At Air Force, Blane led the Falcons to six consecutive bowl games for the first time in school history. The last three years, he served as Head Coach at an FCS school, Lamar University.

    Coach has a rich history in Texas football growing up in Dallas and attending Trinity Christian Academy where he played football for his father while winning three state championships in four years.

    Joined National Preps in February of 2022. Chris is in his first year working as a scout for National Preps. He spent 25 years coaching football in the Chicago area the last 9 of which was as head coach at Lake Park High School. Chris is a graduate of Indiana University where he had the privilege of playing for the legendary Bill Mallory.

    Chris and his wife Kara both teach high school while his daughter Kate is finishing up as a student recruiting assistant at Michigan St and his son Peter is starting his first year playing football at Navy.

    Jordan joined National Preps in June of 2017. Jordan began his scouting career in high school as a Scouting Associate for Norcal Football Scouting in 2008. From there, he went to the University of Colorado Boulder to work in their football and recruiting offices while obtaining his bachelor's degree in Economics in 2012.

    Since then, he has worked as a Player Analyst and Scout for the college market, first with XOS Digital for five years and has since been with National Preps beginning in 2017. Throughout his career, he has scouted areas all over the western region and Texas. In addition to his 13 years of scouting experience, he has also spent five years as a coordinator and WR/DB coach in Northern California.

    Paul joined the National Preps team in 2021 after working as a student assistant for UC Davis in their Recruiting and Player Personnel Department for 2.5 years.

    Paul is a Northern California native who has 12 years of combined experience as a football scout, player, and coach. Since 2021, he has worked as a Western Region Scout for National Preps covering Northern California and Idaho. Prior to working for National Preps, he worked in the Player Personnel & Recruiting department at UC Davis between 2017-2020, working directly with the Director of Player Personnel and serving as a Defensive Quality Control Student Coach. Paul has also been a high school defensive line coach in Northern California for the past six years.

    Trent Joined National Preps in June of 2017. Trent has over 33 years of football experience as a player, coach, and scout. Prior to joining National Preps Trent oversaw scouting in Northern California, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington for XOS Digital for 4 years, prior to working at XOS Digital Trent spent some time working for CaliPreps scouting Northern California.

    Trent has 29 years of high school football coaching experience, in those 29 years, Trent has built numerous friendships and relationships with some of the top coaches and programs in the nation. Trent has coached at numerous college camps over the years (Alabama, Cal, USC, Washington, Sacramento State).

    Kendrick comes to National Preps after a 10-year coaching career. Kendrick has spent the last seven years as the Outside Wide Receiver Coach at FCS Houston Baptist University. Kendrick has coached 3 FCS All – Americans and six All-Conference players. Two, are now playing professional football.

    Kendrick also coached two seasons at Blinn College and coached six JUCO All – Americans two are currently playing in the NFL. Kendrick started his coaching career at Willowridge High School in Houston, Texas.

    Kendrick played his college football at Jackson State University, winning the SWAC Championship in 1995 and 1996 and the Black National Championship in 1996. Kendrick signed a free agent contract with the San Diego Chargers in 1997, playing two seasons in San Diego before signing with Kansas City Chiefs for a season.
